041. Update

Slightly over a year has passed since the last post on this blog. It has been a year of highs and lows, successes and failures, polarizing forces, opposition, struggle...a year of transition, growth, overcoming, learning, being pushed to the limits...and ultimately, joy. It was my 40th year. The 40th post to this blog will forever be personal and private, between me and my God only. I now look forward to writing again. I pray that what I share will be of benefit to others, and I give all the Glory to God. We are all in this together, yet our struggle to come to know God is individual.

Whatever struggle or trial you are facing, believe me, it is worth it to hold on in faith. God knows you, He loves you, and He wants you to know Him. There are prices to be sacrifice, in faith, in patience, in struggle, in loss, in fumbling in the dark..but it is all for a wise and measured bring about your salvation and purge the dross from your align your mind with God's...and to make you more Christlike. For He is indeed the prototype of the saved man (and woman). "What [Christ] proposed unto the human family when He proposed to save them -- that He proposed to make them like unto Himself, and He was like the Father, the great prototype of all saved beings; and for any portion of the human family to be assimilated into Their likeness is to be saved; and to be unlike Them is to be destroyed; and on this hinge turns the door of salvation." (Lectures on Faith, Lecture 7, vs. 16).

Follow the Savior, there is none else that can save.
